BE the WorldYou Want to See!
One of the best ways to get through difficulties is to simply persevere day by day. Huge projects don't seem as daunting when we focus on one element ... completing that before we tackle the next phase. As Napoleon Hill said, "Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure."

Stress-related issues/high demands schedule/working long hours/not enough time for you are on the rise due to our complex and constantly changing world and we are seeing symptoms of fear and anxiety that have skyrocketed in the past decade. These directly impact our quality of life and our health.
This week – it seem to be a very tough week for everyone! From my clients, to my group fitness, and others – this heat wave doesn’t help/not sleeping well at night. Really affected their overall mental and physical state. This was also a very challenging week for me. I go through stages suffering insomnia (this all week was terrible for me for not sleeping) – so that didn’t help. And with my training being very intense – I really had to force and talk myself through it (every step of the way). I even broke down and called my coach on Thursday. I never have to do that – and hearing his voice and the conversation we had – he really picked up my spirit and gave me the power of encourage that I needed – to really fire my fuel!
This year has been a very long season for competitive season – and Pre-contesting training. Its been 9 months- going hard and I am really looking forward to my off season in Oct!!! My body really needs a break and a shut down – and allow my body to recharge and modify my training ( and not so intense)! That I am looking forward to! But the some token I all about structure as well.
On that note: something that I practice on a daily basis – with my schedule being so demanding and my training – this is something that everyone can practice meditation. I try to add this in my daily routine (10 minutes ).
Meditation helps us to take a break from chaos. As we move away from the stimuli of the moment, we are able to gain more clarity, focus and peace of mind. The key to meditation is that it allows us to calm our fears and move into the present moment, and in that moment we can tap into a sense of peace —- rather than worrying about the past or obsessing about the future.
